Symptoms of a voice disorder can range from hoarseness or a chronic dry, scratchy throat, a pitch/tone that is not pleasing, limitations in the ability too speak clearly, or periods of voice loss.

Vocal Abuse and Vocal Fold Paralysis involves using methods to modify vocal behaviors and eliminate vocal/voice misuse, manage voice disorders and allow for improved voice use. An evaluation is provided, prior too therapy of patient specific treatment.

Vocal limitations can result from: vocal fold nodules, misuse, abuse, irritable Larynx Syndrome, polyps, cysts, vocal fold paralysis, spasmodic dysphonia, reflux, vocal fold bowing and paradoxical vocal fold movement and dysfunction.
